Kisses for Daddy
It has been a banner week this week at the Norgauer house. If you have followed the blog (or are friends of ours) you will know that things haven't exactly gone seamlessly with between our little sweet cheeks (Eliana) and her faithful daddy. She has given him a hard time to say the least since being home these past several months. This week, however, we had a few banner moments. Milan has been trying to get Eliana up in the morning before she sees me and begins her "I want Mommy" routine. While she still cries at first, she has offered him kisses a few times and is finally taking a bottle from him. I won't say she isn't protesting at first, but she has given in to his feeding her at least a few times, which is a huge step. So, for now, we see some progress, but know we have a long way to go. We will keep taking it one day at a time and continue to pray for a speedy transition through this season.

What a wonderful answer to prayer and new year's gift! I pray that you continue to see progress. It's hard to imagine how hard her life was before she was blessed by the Norgauer family.
